OEE Output Objects

The system’s OEE functionality creates a number of folders and objects on different levels of the ISA-95 Equipment Model, providing access to raw OEE indices on the equipment level as well as aggregated OEE data on higher levels of the business hierarchy. On all affected levels, OEE data is located inside the 'OEE' folder. The following sections provide a brief overview over these OEE Output Objects.

OEE and OEE Solitaire

For any item of equipment which has an OEE Equipment Monitor running, the OEE Index is available in the 'Production' subfolder of the 'OEE' folder while OEE Solitaire has its own subfolder. Both subfolders also host other objects which will be addressed later in this document.

  • If the product is configured in the Product Configuration table of the OEE Equipment Monitor, this contains the OEE index. Otherwise it contains the OEE Top index, based on the equipment’s Default Performance.

  • Output KPI, providing the KPI according to the OEE Industry Standard

OEE Factors

OEE is the product of Availability, Performance and Quality. For the OEE Index, the individual values of these three factors are accessible in the 'Production' folder. The factors for the OEE Solitaire Index are located in the 'Solitaire' subfolder.

Table Outputs

These Outputs provide detailed logs regarding the Production Runs as well as Equipment Stops. The 'Equipment Stops' table also acts as an interface for the equipment administrator to manually reassign reasons for stops which occurred during production.

Aggregation Folders and Objects

OEE Indices from multiple OEE Equipment Monitors are aggregated on the various levels of the enterprise hierarchy in the ISA-95 Equipment Model.

Each 'OEE' folder on higher levels of the enterprise hierarchy contains the 'Aggregation' folder which hosts individual Subfolders for all the OEE Integration Scopes which have been selected for Aggregation in the underlying OEE Equipment Monitor objects. These subfolders contain the objects with the aggregated OEE Indices and Factors.

On the equipment level (where the OEE Equipment Monitor objects are located), each 'OEE' folder hosts the 'Weighted' subfolder. The objects in this folder form the basis for the aggregations on higher levels and are for internal use only.

OEE Monitor State Variables

Underneath the OEE Equipment Monitor object in the ISA-95 Equipment Model, the Monitor State folder hosts an extensive list of variable objects. These variables do not affect normal OEE functionality but can be read by scripts implementing custom functionality (like Advanced Endpoints) to gain information about the current state of this OEE Equipment Monitor. In general, these variable objects have descriptive names that indicate the variable purpose but ff you require more information, please get in contact with Support.
