TPM Year Configuration
TPM Year configuration is used to define the fiscal year of an enterprise.
This configuration object type can be created on Enterprise and Site level.
Creating a TPM Year Configuration Object
To create a TPM Year Configuration object, in the ISA-95 Equipment Model right click on the intended parent object of one of the types listed above ('The OEE Demo Enterprise' in the example) and select
to open the Create Year Configuration wizard.The Common Section
Enter a suitable name, and -optionally- a description for the object. Then click Next to move on to the Calendar Year section.

The Calendar Year Section

The Running Shift Rolls In checkbox needs to be checked if work shifts continue from the old calendar year into the new calendar year.
For the Timezone Reference at least one link to a TPM Timezone And Availability Tracker needs to be set, so that the local times of the Calendar Year Configuration can be converted to UTC correctly for the OEE calculation. References to multiple Trackers can be set to provide redundancy. To do so, click on the table icon to open the Timezone Reference table.

In the table dialog, click the … button in the Timezone Reference column and select a suitable Timezone And Availability Tracker object from the I/O Model. Click OK to add your selection to the table dialog.

The selected Timezone And Availability Tracker is now added to the Timezone Reference Table.

Additional references to Timezone And Availability Tracker objects can be set by adding new lines and selecting other Trackers as before.
When all intended references are set click OK to confirm and close the table dialog.
The Start Calendar Year property is set to 'Midnight, 1st Day of January' by default. If necessary, another option can be selected, which may require more details. For the example, stick with the default value.

The Fiscal Year Section

The Running Shift Rolls In checkbox needs to be checked if work shifts continue from the old calendar year into the new calendar year.
Set one or more links to a TPM Timezone And Availability Tracker as Timezone Reference, so that also the local times of the Fiscal Year configuration can be converted to UTC for the OEE calculation correctly.
Click on the table icon to open the Timezone Reference table.

In the table dialog, click the … button in the Timezone Reference column and select a suitable Timezone And Availability Tracker object from the I/O Model. Click OK to add your selection to the table dialog.

The selected Timezone And Availability Tracker is now added to the Timezone Reference Table.

When all intended references are set click OK to confirm and close the table dialog.

Start Fiscal Year allows to set a specific time (and weekday - if needed) for the start of the fiscal year. Default is 'Midnight, 1st Day of Month'.
Start Month specifies to which month the settings of Start Fiscal Year apply to define the start of the fiscal year. Default is 'January'.
Finally, click Create to create the TPM Year Configuration Object in the ISA-95 Model.

Linking the TPM Year Configuration to the OEE Equipment Monitor
If no Year Configuration Source is configured in its Configuration Options, the OEE Equipment Monitor will use the very first Year Configuration object, which it finds when traversing the ISA-95 Equipment Model tree upwards. |
To specify the TPM Year Configuration which shall be taken into account by the OEE Equipment Monitor, go to the Configuration Options section in the monitor’s properties, click on … for the Year Configuration Source to open the object picker in the ISA-95 Model.

Select the intended Year Configuration Object.

Click OK to confirm and close the dialog and Apply the changes to the properties.
