TPM Site Configuration

TPM Site configuration objects are required to connect other configuration objects for a Site (or subordinate levels) in the ISA-95 Model with Timezone Availability Tracker objects in the I/O Model.

This connection is a prerequisite for several other OEE Configuration Objects to work properly.

To be able to keep track of the quality of the individual connections, each Site in the ISA-95 Equipment Model needs to have its own TPM Site Configuration object configured, even if some of them are locate in the same timezone.

For redundancy reasons, several Connector objects which are available in the site context should be linked up to the matching TPM Site Configuration object.

This configuration object type can be created on Site level.

Creating a TPM Site Configuration Object

To create a TPM Site Configuration object, right click on the Site object in the ISA-95 Equipment Model tree () and select Admin  New  TPM  TPM Site Configuration.

In the Create TPM Site Configuration wizard, provide a suitable Object Name and -optionally- Object Description.

Then click on the table icon for Timezone Reference.

Linking the TPM Site Configuration to the OEE Equipment Monitor

If no Site Configuration Source is configured in its Configuration Options, the OEE Equipment Monitor will use the very first Site Configuration object, which it finds when traversing the ISA-95 Equipment Model tree upwards.

To specify the TPM Site Configuration which shall be taken into account by the OEE Equipment Monitor, go to the Configuration Options section in the monitor’s properties, click on … for the Site Configuration Source to open the object picker in the ISA-95 Model.
