TPM Shift Configuration

The TPM Shift Configuration, allows the configuration of multiple logical shifts, their respective local start and end times and their applicability with respect to certain times of the year.

This configuration object type can be created on Area and Cell level.

A fully configured Site Configuration object is required for this configuration object to work properly.

Creating a TPM Shift Configuration Object

To create a TPM Shift Configuration object, in the ISA-95 Equipment Model right click on the intended parent object of one of the types listed above ('The OEE Demo Site' in the example) and select Admin  New  TPM  Year Configuration to open the Create Shift Configuration wizard.

Enter a suitable Object Name, and -optionally- Object Description.

For Shift Configuration click on the table icon to open the Shift Configuration table

For every Shift enter a new line, providing the day of the week and time for start and end of the shift, as well as a start and end date for the period during which this shift configuration is valid.

All times are to be entered as local times, not UTC time. The Timezone And Availability Tracker

When done, click OK to confirm and close the table. Then click Create.

The new TPM Shift Configuration object is added to the ISA-95 Equipment Model tree.

Linking the TPM Shift Configuration to the OEE Equipment Monitor

If no Shift Configuration Source is configured in its Configuration Options, the OEE Equipment Monitor will use the very first Shift Configuration object, which it finds when traversing the ISA-95 Equipment Model tree upwards.

To specify the TPM Shift Configuration which shall be taken into account by the OEE Equipment Monitor, go to the Configuration Options section in the monitor’s properties, click on …​ for the Shift Configuration Source to open the object picker in the ISA-95 Model.

Select the intended Shift Configuration object and click OK to confirm and close the dialog.

Finally, Apply the changes to the properties.
