Log Display

The Log Display is used to read the central log of system:inmation. Similar to the History displays, the Log Display reads information archived in the server side repository, and always uses a time span when asking the Core for data. Since the data returned is log information ordered by time, and not values, this history query does not use any aggregate. Multiple filtering (especially based on source object) and sorting mechanisms are supported, some being predefined by system views. The Log Display can be configured to update automatically to show log messages when arriving in the central log online. The display can be opened from the Open menu (shortcut Ctrl+L) or the context menu of an object in a model panel (shortcut Alt+L).

The drop down menu at the top of the viewer changes the display to show event distribution in terms of severity and severity distribution percentage.
