HistoryTrend Display
The default display settings for DataStudio’s HistoryTrend display can be changed, including general, style and legend settings.
Default Configuration

Timeshift Factor |
This factor is the amount the displayed time span shifts when moving forwards and backyards in time with HistoryTrend display. Values between 0 and 1 are permitted where 1 would display no overlap of times between timeshifts, 0.75 would shift the timespan forwards or backwards,3/4 of the current timespan displayed (e.g. currently shown time span 6 AM to 10 AM, a time shift factor 0.75 shifts forward to time span of 9 AM to 1 PM). This will be the default value when opening a new HistoryTrend window. |
Start Time |
Default start time when a new HistoryTrend display is opened. |
End Time |
Default end time when a new HistoryTrend display is opened. |
Cursor Info Type |
Default cursor type when a new HistoryTrend display is opened. |
Quality Indicator |
Check checkbox to, by default, display the quality indicator bars when a new HistoryTrend display is opened |
Show Intervals |
Check this option to display the intervals in the display by default when a new HistoryTrend display is opened. Default is off. |
Highlight Future Time Period |
Check this option to see future time periods highlighted when a new HistoryTrend display is opened. |
Max Update Rate |
The default maximum data update rate when using the automatic update feature in HistoryTrend display |

Series Defaults - Aggregate |
The default data aggregate type when a HistoryTrend display is opened or new trend series is added. Default is "Raw Data". |
Series Defaults - Interval Anchor |
The default anchor used when start/end times are changed. Intervals or interval length recalculations are based on the anchor. Default sets to optimized interval count based on current time period. Max Resolution sets interval count to chart width (minimum time period is acquisition rate). |
Use Range |
Check this option to use the High/Low Range limits as the Max?Min Y-axis values when a new HistoryTrend is opened. Default is off. - Aggregate Parameters These parameters determine the default settings for calculating aggregates when a HistoryTrend display is opened |
Aggregate Parameters - Percent data bad |
Default value for the minimum percentage of bad data in a given interval to change status code to 'Bad' |
Aggregate Parameters - Percent data good |
Default value for the minimum percentage of good data in a given interval to change status code to 'Good'. |
Aggregate Parameters - Use sloped extrapolation |
Check checkbox to use sloped extrapolation as default. |
Aggregate Parameters - Treat uncertain as bad |
Check checkbox to treat uncertain StatusCode data as 'Bad' by default. |
Data Type Adjustments - Automatic integer y-Axis |
Check this to automatically switch the y-axis to integer mode if the displayed data is of the integer datatype. Default is on. |
Data Type Adjustments - Automatic boolean y-Axis |
Check this to automatically switch the y-axis to boolean mode if the displayed data is of the boolean datatype. Default is on. |
