Dashboard Display

The default Dashboard display settings in DataStudio can be changed using these options.

Dashboard Display - Faceplate

The default settings for the Faceplate view control type in the Dashboard display can be configured. The various properties can be selected to be shown or hidden when a new Dashboard display is opened and Faceplate view selected.

Setting Description

Show Timestamp

Check to show the timestamp on the Faceplate display.

Show Age Gauge

Check to show the Age Gauge on the Faceplate display.

Show Range Bar

Check to show the Range Bar on the Faceplate display.

Show Description

Check to show the Object Description on the Faceplate display.

Show Indicators

Check to show the Indicators (High/Low EU Range reached, Readable/Writable etc.) on the Faceplate display.

Show Quality

Check to show the Quality on the Faceplate display.

Show Discrete State

Check to show the Discrete state on the Faceplate display.

Dashboard - Faceplate (AE) Settings

The following default Faceplate (AE) settings for the Dashboard display can be changed:

Setting Description

Max Events

The maximum number of events that can be visualized in the AE Faceplate.

Synchronized

Check this option to synchronize event counts to a common timebase.

Faceplate (KPI) Settings

The following default Faceplate (KPI) settings for the Dashboard display can be changed.

Setting Description

General - Type

Select the trend line type from the drop-down menu. Default is "Line"

General - Color

Select the trend line color from the color picker dialog.

General - Show Grid Lines

Check this option to show gridlines on the KPI Faceplate trend. Default is off.

General - Dash

Select the trend line dash type and thickness from the drop-down menu.

General - Allow Zooming

Check this option to allow zooming on the KPI Faceplate trend. Default is off.

History and Realtime - Channel

Select between showing a Realtime or History trend on the Faceplate. Default is History

History and Realtime - Time Settings

Select the time settings for the History Trend. Default is -1m from current time.

History and Realtime - Aggregate

Select the aggregate for the History trend (no option for Realtime). Default is Raw Data.

Curve Fitting - Type

Select the trend curve fitting type from the drop-down menu. Default is "None".

Curve Fitting - Color

Select the color of the fitted curve (if selected).

Curve Fitting - Dash

Select the dash type and thickness of the fitted curve (if selected).

Marker - Type

Select the marker type for the trend. Default is "No Marker".

Marker - Color

Select the marker color for the trend.

Vertical Axis - Show

Check this option to show the vertical axis of the trend line in the KPI Faceplate. Default is off.

Vertical Axis - Amount of Labels

Select the number of labels to be included on the vertical axis of the trend line in the KPI Faceplate.

Vertical Axis - Minimum Value

Select how the minimum vertical axis label value is calculated from the drop-down menu options.

Vertical Axis - Maximum Value

Select how the maximum vertical axis label value is calculated from the drop-down menu options.

Horizontal Axis - Show

Check this option to show the horizontal axis of the trend line in the KPI Faceplate. Default is off.

Horizontal Axis - Amount of Labels

Select the number of labels to be included on the horizontal axis of the trend line in the KPI Faceplate.

Dashboard Trend View Settings

The display options for the Dashboard Trend View can be changed and will be the default when the Trend view is selected in a Dashboard display.
