RealTime and History Displays
GeoMap
The GeoMap display allows objects to be visualized on a map via their assigned geographical location. Alternatively the objects can be manually dragged and dropped to locations on the GeoMap display. Different views (info, trend, table) and markers can be chosen to visualize the objects and each view can be configured in multiple ways. GeoMap display can also show movement of objects if their location is changing dynamically during the time the display is open. If performance counters are available for the object, they can also be visualized on the GeoMap using the performance counters tab on the Display Item Properties panel (accessed from the View menu or shortcut Ctrl+F10).
The Trend view can visualize RealTime or History trends. This is also configured on the Display Item Properties panel by selecting the Trend configuration tab (see Properties Panels chapter for more information about the Display Item Properties panel). The display can be opened from the Open menu or the context menu of an object in a model panel (if the selected objects are able to supply real time information). The respective keyboard shortcuts for these actions are Ctrl+G and Alt+G.

Event View
The Event View display shows both real-time and historical event data from event visualization objects such as Event Stream, Internal Event Stream or Script Events. More information on these objects can be found in the Alarms and Events section. The Event View display can be opened from the Open menu (Ctrl+E) or by selecting an object in one of the model panels and, using the context menu (right-click), selecting Add item to… → Event View (shortcut Alt+E).

Event View displays are also opened automatically from the A&E Faceplate if certain elements are single or double clicked.
When an Event object is added to an Event View display, the display will automatically start to populate with real-time events from the object. Historical events from the object can also be accessed by clicking the Time Period Settings dialog button on the menu bar and selecting the desired historical time period. The other Event View Menu Bar items are explained below.
